"Get References" for Gary Regester
Portraits of Artists, Actors, Authors and Auteurs

A gift from age and experience: We learn that people only work with people that they already trust.  Or that they only work with people whom someone, who knows someone, already trusts  -  so, it's good advice to "Get references!".   So, as I am writing this page - beyond my portfolio - why should someone chose me as their portrait photographer against the milling masses? Here are some references and reasons:

My CV/Bio.

I work and travel very compactly (and inexpensively, "Y" class & YMCAs) using small format still film and digital/video; medium/view film cameras.  Lighting with portable and studio flash or cool UV-free daylight fluorescent. Specializing in portraits in problematic environments (within buildings and museums or outofdoors).
Thank you, Gary
